The Baby-Doll Parenting Lab and Young Mother & Young Father Classes give students a place to learn, practice, make mistakes safely, receive guidance, build confidence, and prepare for real-life responsibilities.
Hands-on practice with baby dolls, cribs, bottles, diapers, clothing, and diaper bags.
Parenting skills, education planning, career preparation, financial literacy, and personal development.
Responsible fatherhood, co-parenting, communication, financial responsibility, and career preparation.
Age-appropriate lessons about infant and child development.
Cooking, household organization, time management, budgeting, and decision-making.
Helping students remain in school and connect with YLLC vocational and career-training opportunities.
Positive adult mentors who encourage students to set educational, personal, and career goals.
Respectful communication, problem-solving, and working together around a child's needs.
